Our Cabin Crew department is responsible for providing a delightful service experience to passengers and maintaining high standards of service quality. The prime responsibility of our crew is the safety and security of passengers on board. Before they get onto the aircraft as a flying crew, they undergo intensive training for a period of three months. Our cabin crew are brand ambassadors of IndiGo and are well trained to deal with all situations - no matter how tough - with poise and grace.

What is the age limit to apply for the position of Cabin Crew?
The maximum age to apply for the position of Cabin Crew for candidates with no work experience is 27 years. However, the age limit for experienced cabin crew is 35 years.
What is the minimum height required to be a Cabin Crew?
A Cabin Crew should be a minimum of 155 cms in height.
I do not have customer service experience, am I still eligible to apply for the position of Cabin Crew?
Yes, you are eligible to apply for the position of Cabin Crew. Experience in customer service industry is not mandatory.
Is it mandatory to apply online, or can I directly walk-in for the interview?
It is an absolute mandate to apply online before walking-in for the interview.
My resume did not get uploaded, What do I do?
All resumes that are uploaded need to be in Doc/Docx/PDF format. We would suggest using Desktop/Laptop system to upload the resume.

Can male candidates apply for the Cabin Crew position?
IndiGo only hires only female candidates for the Cabin Crew position. Male candidates may apply for any other job role, on our careers page, as per their preference and suitability.
I was unsuccessful in my interview. Can I apply again?
There is no cooling period for candidates who are unable to clear the preliminary round(s) of the interview. However, in case you are unsuccessful in completing the final round, there is a cooling period of three months before you can reappear.
What are the mandatory documents required at the time of joining?
You are required to submit the following documents at the time of joining:
Passport
Pan Card
Aadhar Card
Class Xth and XIIth Marksheet from a recognised Board or University (as per DGCA)
Relieving/Resignation letter from the last/current employer (to whomsoever it may concern)
Police verification letter (if applicable)
AEP surrender copy (if applicable)
Demand Draft 50,000 INR (if applicable)

Can I request for a base transfer?
You can request for a base transfer only post completion of one year from the date of joining the organisation. The request will be considered subject to a vacancy in the requested location.

Mandatory Guidelines
The candidate must come well prepared and have comprehensive knowledge of the eligibility criteria, cabin-crew profile, and the company, on the day of the assessment.
The dress code for the interview is a half-sleeve shirt and a knee-length well fitted skirt with black stockings. However, please do take adequate precautions against any adverse weather conditions.
The candidate must carry 2 passport size photographs, soft copy along with 1 printed copy of updated resume and photocopies of 10th and 12th mark sheets from a recognised board or university, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, and Passport.
The candidate must mention the source of information of the interview, age, height, weight and the Application ID (received post applying online) on top of their resume.
A passport size picture of the candidate should be duly stapled on the top of the candidates CV.
Only the candidates are allowed at the assessment location.
The assessment day may extend to a full-day process. Each candidate is expected to come fully prepared for this.

If selected, we expect the candidate to be open to the idea of relocation. IndiGo has many offices all over the country. However the hiring is done, basis the availability and requirement of the company.
The Body-Mass Index requirement for the job profile is 18-22. The candidates height and weight will be checked on the day of the interview, and only on complete fitment will the candidate be forwarded to the next round.
Post selection, the candidate will have to be in Gurgaon for three months (approximately) of training, and clear all DGCA examinations required to fetch a flying license before being relocated to their respective bases.

The assessment day(s) (at times, it may take more than one day) is designed to showcase your skills. The assessment involves a group interview, communication assessment, medical assessment, and a personal interview.
Only if you clear one round, would you be eligible to move to the successive round.
During the assessment period, you will meet many IndiGo employees, who will answer any queries that you might have.

Once you clear all the interview rounds, an employment offer will be shared with you. Post which, you will be informed about the required documentation and pre-joining process.

Eligibility Criteria
For Experienced Cabin Crew (Lead Cabin Attendant ATR)
Female Indian nationals, with an Indian Passport, minimum 21 years of age.
Competency card/ SEP Card with 2 endorsed Recurrents.
Educational Qualification: A minimum of 10+2, from a recognised Board or University.
Communication: Fluency and clarity of speech in both English and Hindi.
Height and Weight: A minimum of 155 cms, and weight proportionate to BMI.
Appearance: Positive body language and well groomed. No tattoos should be visible while in uniform.
For candidates, with no prior Cabin Crew experience / Freshers (Cabin Attendant - Grade Training Airbus)
Female Indian nationals, with an Indian Passport, between 18 to 27 years of age.
Educational Qualification: A minimum of 10+2, from a recognised Board or University.
Communication: Fluency and clarity of speech in both English and Hindi.
Height and Weight: A minimum of 155 cms, and weight proportionate to BMI.
Appearance: Positive body language and well groomed. No tattoos should be visible while in uniform.
