It depicts sense of belongingness and ownership that each one of us displays during our conduct in the organisation. IndiGoVangaza

At IndiGo, we believe that our team is our greatest asset. We create opportunities for fun, celebration and to harness the 6E spirit within us through fun events. These include IndiGoVangaza, which is a fun event at every station where employees get an opportunity to connect with our senior leadership team.

IndiGo's Got Talent

It is a companywide platform for employees to showcase their talent. A special evening is organised where the employees get a chance to present what they do best.

In order to ensure that fun activities are planned in a way that maximum employees are covered in each location/function, we have CEOs (Chief Entertainment Officer) and EAs (Entertainment Advisor) at every location/function that are responsible for planning and executing activities locally.

6E Recognize

Our culture of 'Respect all, Recognise efforts & contributions and Reward excellence' is ingrained in our reward and recognition framework called 3R. 3R is hosted on our mobile app based internal social networking platform, My 6E World, which makes recognition instant and hassle-free. There are plenty of inspiring stories being created at IndiGo every day. Through Rewards such as Employee of the Quarter, 6E Claps (peer-to-peer), 6E Achievers (employee of the month) and more, we recognise such stories so that we can drive IndiGo's customer-centric culture more and more. We also have function-specific Rewards such as Best Trouble Shooter for IT or 6E Fast Tracker for Airport Operations & Customer Services which ensure that every kind of role as scope for appreciation. The recipient of these rewards earn points which can be redeemed on our online brand store 6E Cart. Photographs of our Employee of the Quarter/Year are displayed on an aircraft, and their family is invited for felicitation which creates a great moment of pride for the employee, their family and of course us!

We also leverage special days such as Women's Day, International Cabin Crew Day, Teacher's Day, Engineer's Day, etc. to mark the importance of such days and emphasise the special role they play in our lives.

As part of IndiGo's Staff Leisure Travel policy (SLT), employees and their eligible dependents can avail discounted air tickets (both domestic and international) on all IndiGo routes. The company offers unlimited travel to its employees throughout the year with the help of an exclusive mobile app for employees.

6E Fly High and 6E familyFLY programme

These programs were conceptualised to give a platform to our employees and their families with an opportunity to build a career in flying. Qualified employees and family members can apply for pilot training, and on successful completion of the training, they are assured of induction into the IndiGo pilot team. This program is one of a kind in the industry and helps reinforce our culture by giving dream career paths to many of our employees as well as their family members who wished to become pilots.

Learning is key

Central to the success of our focus on development and growth of our people is ifly, our learning and development academy. This intergrated facility with state-of-the-art infrastructure is designed to deliver a real-time training experience to all our new recruits. It is considered to be one the best aviation training facilities in India. The key focus is on building market differentiating capabilities and managing individual aspirations.

Touching lives

At IndiGo, we reach out not just with our planes but also with our hearts. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, IndiGoReach focusses on three broad themes namely children and education, women empowerment and environment. We work towards upliftment of communities not just around us but also far-flung areas in the country. iService is a programme under IndiGoReach which encourages employees to volunteer their time and effort for the under-privilege. They can volunteer time, skills or expertise up to three days in a year during work hours.

Daycare

At IndiGo, we mean when we say, we care. We were the first airline in the country to have opened a day care at an airport.

Beyond life

In case of an untimely death of an employee, the Benevolent Contribution scheme provides financial assistance to the family of that employee.

Employee Assistance

Employees have access to free counselling resources and work/life balance tools. iCare is our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to help employees deal with personal problems that might adversely impact their work performance, health and personal well-being.
