Q1. What is the maximum age limit to apply for the position of cabin crew?
Answer: The Maximum age to apply for cabin crew position for both experienced and freshers/inexperienced (non -cabin crew) candidate is 27 years.

Q2. What is the minimum height criteria to be eligible for cabin crew?
Answer: The Minimum height criteria is 155 cm.

Q3. I do not have customer service experience, can I still apply for cabin crew position?
Answer: Previous experience in a customer service role is not a criteria for the cabin crew position.

Q4.  I was unsuccessful in my interview, can I apply again?
Answer: There is no waiting period for candidates who are unsuccessful in the preliminary round / s of interview, however, in case you are unsuccessful in the final round of interview, there is a waiting period of 3 months.

Q5. Can Male candidates apply for cabin crew?
Answer: IndiGo hires only female candidates for cabin crew position, male candidates may apply for any other position as available on our career page.

Q6. What are the mandatory documents required at the time of joining?
Answer: You are required to submit the following documents:

  • Passport
  • Pan Card
  • Aadhar Card
  • Mark sheet of Class Xth and XIIth from a recognized Board or University
  • Email/Letter of Relieving/Resignation from the last Employer (to whomsoever applicable)

Q7. What is the employment agreement period for cabin crew?
Answer: The Employment agreement period is 3 years from the date of joining.

Q8. Can I request for a base transfer?
Answer: You can request for a transfer of base once you join the organization, which may be considered subject to a vacancy in the other location requested for.

Q9. Can I request for change in my role & department?
Answer: You can apply through Internal Job Posting. Your department transfer is subject to selection process for the new role as per Company guidelines and release from In-Flight Services.

Tips To Keep In Mind While Applying For The Position Of Cabin Crew-

Thank the interviewer for the time spent with you. Give a firm hand shake and make eye contact when doing this.
  • Be confident
  • Gather some information about the Airline and position applied for.
  • Be well rested before the interview.
  • Keep your resume updated and prepare all the necessary documents required for the interview.
  • Prepare the attire required for the interview and be well groomed.
  • Make the recruiters see that you are positive. Let them feel that you’d love to get the job but if you won’t, you still have enjoyed the experience of facing an interview. You’re just too happy that nothing can take away your positive attitude.

Qualification

  • Female Indian nationals, with Indian Passport, between 18 to 27 Years of age.
  • Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 examination, from a recognized Board or University.
  • Communication: Fluency and clarity of speech in English and Hindi.
  • Height: Minimum of 155 cms, with proportionate weight, as per BMI.
  • Appearance: Clear skin, positive body language and well groomed. No visible scars or tattoos.
